- I'm an architect currently living in Williston, North Dakota, heart of the area of energy development and land development activity. My sketches are focused on the landscape or areas of interest around me. When I was in Romania, I was the first Urban Sketcher in Romania, and I still try to maintain the format of Urban Sketchers. Just today I found an old postcard on ebay with this building on it; whilo looking for more information I found your beautiful sketch. If you would like me to, I could e-mail the postcard to you.
Anyway,
I am collecting these postcards for a book I am preparing about skyscrapers OUTSIDE the USA and this building struck me as a possible building of more than 35 meters ("my skyscraper-definition" for the periode before 1940).
I wonder whether you can help me with some more information on this building (i.e. when was it built, who was the architect and how hingh is it?).
It would really help me and contribute to an intersting little chpater on Bucharest in my book.
